Twin Staffing is proud to partner with one of Canada’s most respected and innovative general contractors to find an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Kelowna-based team. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clearly defined career path toward Project Director within the near future.
If you're a construction leader who thrives in collaborative environments, has a track record delivering mid-to-large institutional and commercial projects, and wants to be part of a forward-thinking, 100% employee-owned company, this opportunity is for you.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead full-cycle delivery of complex commercial and institutional construction projects — from design and pre-construction to close-out. You’ll also mentor future leaders and play an integral role in the company’s continued growth.
Project Oversight
- Lead cradle-to-grave delivery of multi-residential, institutional, and commercial projects
- Manage design reviews, constructability assessments, cost planning (Class D, B, Tender), tendering, procurement, contract administration, and close-out
- Oversee both CM and CM-to-stip-sum (CCDC 5A/5B to CCDC 2) delivery models
- Identify risks and opportunities throughout construction; guide the team through CM conversion
Business Leadership
- Mentor PMs, Coordinators, Supers, and support staff — developing the next generation of talent
- Support business development by crafting compelling methodologies and proposals that win work
- Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Drive continuous improvement and safety best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed innovation and improve delivery processes
What You Bring
- 8+ years’ experience with a general contractor (not developer or design-build owner rep)
- 5+ years directly in a Project Manager role on commercial or institutional builds
- Proven experience in full-cycle project delivery from design through handover
- Strong CM conversion knowledge (CCDC 5A/5B to CCDC 2)
- Advanced budgeting and forecasting skills at all design stages (Class D through Tender)
- Skilled in risk analysis, trade buyouts, scheduling (MS Project), and site methodology planning
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to split time between office and site
- Bonus if you have experience with IPD, Design-Build, or Progressive Design-Build models
Why This Role?
This isn’t just another project management job. It’s a launchpad to executive leadership, backed by an employee-owned company that walks the talk on collaboration, innovation, and purpose.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Industry-leading compensation + employee ownership
- Full health & dental benefits, RRSP matching, and bonus potential
- Strong team culture with a focus on mentorship, development, and career growth
- Join an award-winning builder known for complex, meaningful, and community-building projects
