Our Industrial Contractor client is looking for licensed electrician candidates that are either Journeyman or 5th Year Apprentices with at least four years of experience in Industrial Electrical work.

 Job Duties 

  • Team management 
  • Employee evaluations 
  • Attending meetings 
  • Conflict and problem resolution 
  • Project organization and planning 
  • Directing of work 
  • Inspecting installations for quality 
  • Ensure code standards are met 
  • Uphold and enforce job safety 

Qualifications: 

  • State of MI Journeyman or Master Electrician license 
  • Ability to troubleshoot an electrical issue from start to finish without the use of schematics or clear information from the operator or customer 
  • Communicate clearly with the customer, service manager and other team members 
  • Knowledgeable with lighting, transformers, motor control and switchboards 
  • Capable of training newer electricians 
  • Able to work with minimal supervision 
  • Highly technical and versatile in industrial environments 
  • Knowledgeable about sizing requirements for feeders 
  • Must be able to wire 120v,480v & low voltage systems 
  • Experience with Measuring, Threading, Bending and Running EMT and Rigid conduit size 1/2″-4″ 
  • Computer applications relevant to the job (Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP) 
  • Knowledge of electrical calculations 
  • Interpreting information from rough sketches, plans, drawings, and specifications 
  • Journeyman/Master Certification 

Additional skills required for role: 

  • Able to multi-task 
  • Capable of training newer electricians 
  • NEC Code 
  • Running projects large or small 
  • Sizing requirements for feeders 
  • Tooling requirements for jobs 
  • PPE and Safety 
  • Lighting, transformers, motor control, and switchboards 
  • Able to lift 50lbs

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: $30.00 – $53.00 per hour
