Project Coordinator – Commercial Construction

Calgary, AB | $75,000–$85,000 + Benefits | Local General Contractor | Full-Time


Twin Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established general contractor based in Calgary that’s known for delivering high-quality commercial and light industrial projects. We’re looking for a seasoned Project Coordinator to step into a key role supporting project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.


This is a great opportunity for someone with 5+ years of construction coordination experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and wants to grow with a respected local builder.

What You’ll Do

  • Support project managers and site teams with project setup, coordination, and documentation
  • Assist with tracking schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Maintain and organize project documents, including drawings, specs, permits, and correspondence
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
  • Track and maintain logs for deficiencies, closeout items, and project deliverables
  • Assist with contract administration, PO tracking, and progress billing support
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to issue tracking, action items, and updates
  • Support construction teams during all project phases including site start-up, execution, and handover


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator role within commercial or light industrial construction
  • Strong working knowledge of project coordination tools, construction documentation, and administrative processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction platforms (Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, etc. a plus)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at managing competing priorities
  • Professional communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Based in the Calgary area and able to work in-office and on-site as needed
