The Opportunity
This role is designed for a well-rounded Project Manager or emerging Senior PM who can lead projects from pre-construction through to close-out.
You’ll be responsible for delivering bridge and transportation infrastructure projects, managing all aspects of execution including financial performance, schedule, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects
- Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, and overall project performance
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment
- Drive procurement strategy, subcontractor selection, and contract management
- Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track
- Support preconstruction efforts including planning, constructability, and value engineering
- Mentor Project Coordinators and junior team members to build bench strength
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10+ years of experience in a Project Management role with a general contractor
- Strong background in transportation infrastructure, specifically bridge construction
- Proven experience managing projects from start to finish—not just supporting roles
- Experience with mid-sized infrastructure projects (not ultra-mega projects with narrow scope)
- Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, scheduling, and risk management
- Confident communicator who can manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites across Alberta as required

- Base Salary: $120,000–$160,000+ (depending on experience level)
