Inside Sales Specialist Job Overview:

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales department with administrative

tasks; supporting external customer service teams with system updates and documentation;

supporting the finance department with payment term reviews and timely customer payment follow-up.

This role involves working closely with internal Sales and Finance departments and external customer

service teams for OEM (such as, but not limited to, Honda, GM, and Daimler) and Aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track customer POs and price changes in internal systems.

• Process all price changes in SAP SD for all North American customers.

• Read and understand reports from SAP and coordinate action plans as needed.

• Support customer service teams with prompt system updates and timely documentation.

• Support finance and controlling with payment term reviews and timely customer payment

follow-up.

• Monitoring of invoicing process for customers.

• Being a partner to Inside Sales in the headquarters in Germany and support with process

improvement and definition of standards for the Sales Department.

• Maintain master data in SAP (business partners, ship to’s etc.).

• Responsible for updating price changes in scheduling agreements in SAP.

• Maintain OEM customer portals.

• Analyze information and present problems to the team with recommended remedy actions.

• Assist and challenge with RFQ list.

• Assist with budget and strategic planning.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or relevant experience.

• 3+ years of experience with SAP, SD module is a must.

• Entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and self-starter.

• Experience with customer service activities for either GM, Honda, Tesla and Daimler is

desired.

• Understanding of ASN (advanced shipping notice) and invoicing practices for OEM and

Aftermarket customers.

• Good communication skills needed for daily meetings with account managers, customer

service, and finance to keep sales data accurate and current.

• Coordinate Key Account Managers Backoffice activities.

• Detail-oriented, reliable to work independently with minimal supervision
