Manufacturing supervisor on the floor: hands on.

(Team lead - supervisory) 1 or 2 guys working under you,


Exp needed, Hands on building machines. (exp. mechanical & electrical a must).

Build Machines. Custom Machines (custom).

Direct Hire $34 - 38.50 /hr.). plus OT.

hours = 6 am - 2.30 pm. plus OT. 10 hour days.


Manufacturing Supervisor

Overseeing daily manufacturing floor operations, managing staff, ensuring that quality

standards and safety protocols are met. Key responsibilities involve scheduling

personnel, coordinating workflow, troubleshooting issues, and working to improve

efficiency and meet targets.  

Core responsibilities

 Workflow management: 

Plan and coordinate daily activities, ensuring the workflow runs smoothly and efficiently

to meet build timelines. 

 Staff management: 

Supervise in-house and contract manufacturing workers, set goals, delegate tasks,

conduct performance reviews, and provide training and coaching. 

 Safety and compliance: 

Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures, providing safety

training, and reporting and investigating accidents. 

 Quality control: 

Monitor product quality, implement quality control measures, and ensure products meet

company standards. 

 Process improvement: 

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, implement cost-saving

measures, and collaborate with other departments. 

 Reporting and analysis: 

Track build progress, analyze data, and assist with preparing reports for management. 

 Inventory and maintenance: 

Oversee inventory levels to ensure materials are available to try and avoid work

stoppages due to material shortages. 

Required skills and qualifications

 Experienced mechanical machine builder, or machine electrician/pipefitter

 Strong leadership and communication skills

 Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities


 Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations

 Organizational and time-management skills

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office is beneficial
