What You’ll Do
As Superintendent, you’ll own the day-to-day execution of civil infrastructure projects in the field:
- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through to project completion
- Manage site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and to spec
- Drive project schedules using short-interval planning and proactive coordination
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers on budgets, forecasting, and issue resolution
- Identify and remove constraints to keep work moving and crews productive
- Lead site meetings, coordinate inspections, and ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Mentor field staff and foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture on site
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or General Foreman with a general contractor
- Strong background in civil infrastructure projects, ideally water/wastewater (lift stations, treatment plants, underground utilities, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead crews and coordinate multiple scopes in a live construction environment
- Experience managing self-perform and subcontracted work
- Strong understanding of scheduling, site logistics, and construction sequencing
- Safety-first mindset with a track record of running compliant, organized job sites
- Effective communicator who can build trust with crews, PMs, and clients
- Willingness to travel to project sites across BC as required
Compensation & Perks
- Base Salary: $120,000–$150,000/year
