Quality Inspector Function:

Pay rate $17-18/hr. perm contract - hire

1st shift (4 - 10's)

Responsible for raw material and incoming product inspection activities using company and customer

defined quality requirements. Support the Quality Department in the verification of purchased materials,

production materials and finished goods. Support general Quality Department activities as required or as

directed by the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Perform in-process, GP-12, shipping and receiving inspection activities as needed.

 Audit production inspections reports as needed.

 Perform plant round part and process inspections as directed.

 Conduct Final Product Audits.

 Perform product certification, product containment and product sort activities at the direction of

Quality Supervisor, Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.

 Support production sampling for quality testing activities.

 Perform Zwick part force inspections as required.

 Perform 3D Scanning of parts as directed

 Booking of finish goods products.

 Printing the finish goods zebra labels for production as needed

 Issue and/or train to Quality Alerts as needed

 Upholds corporate policies/procedures and employs the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality

standards set by state/federal law and external certification bodies

 All other duties as assigned

Special Circumstances of the Job:

 Travel may be required between USA buildings/facilities.

 Frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds; Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds

 Must be able to quickly move between buildings and work stations to actively respond to needs as

they arise and to maintain production rates.

 Must be able to obtain license to operate forklift and subsequently operate forklift as required to

support ongoing workflow.

Qualification Requirements:

 1-3 years experience in product inspection and quality control activities.

 Demonstrated proficiency utilizing metrology/inspection tools.

 Proficient in interpretation of quality specifications, part drawings and written procedures.

 Proficient with PC use including Excel and MS Word.
