Permanent Contract-hire: Administrative / Buyer Support Specialist
Pay rate open from $28-35/hr.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative / Buyer Support Specialist to join
our team on a full-time contract basis. This role will provide administrative and purchasing
support. This role will work closely with the Senior Buyer and assist with day-to-day purchasing
and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and comfortable
communicating with vendors and internal team members. Strong emphasis on administrative
tasks.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior Buyer with administrative and operational tasks
Communicate with vendors regarding purchase orders, updates, and delivery timelines
Create, process, and track purchase orders
Follow up with vendors on outstanding orders and discrepancies
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
Assist with invoice matching and order confirmations
Enter and update date within purchasing/ERP systems
Provide general administrative support as required
Qualifications
Previous administrative, purchasing, or procurement support experience preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and follow up skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Experience with ERP systems is a considered as asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
