Permanent Contract-hire: Administrative / Buyer Support Specialist

Pay rate open from $28-35/hr.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative / Buyer Support Specialist to join

our team on a full-time contract basis. This role will provide administrative and purchasing

support. This role will work closely with the Senior Buyer and assist with day-to-day purchasing

and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and comfortable

communicating with vendors and internal team members. Strong emphasis on administrative

tasks.

Responsibilities

 Support the Senior Buyer with administrative and operational tasks

 Communicate with vendors regarding purchase orders, updates, and delivery timelines

 Create, process, and track purchase orders

 Follow up with vendors on outstanding orders and discrepancies

 Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation

 Assist with invoice matching and order confirmations

 Enter and update date within purchasing/ERP systems

 Provide general administrative support as required

Qualifications

 Previous administrative, purchasing, or procurement support experience preferred

 Strong organizational and multitasking skills

 Excellent communication and follow up skills

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

 Experience with ERP systems is a considered as asset

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy

 Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively


Job-Type: Full-time Contract
