Journeyman Electrician – Residential / Multi-Family Construction

Location: Calgary, AB & Jasper, AB

Our client is a rapidly growing electrical contractor currently expanding their operations across Calgary and Alberta. With multiple large-scale residential and multi-family developments underway, they are actively seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join their team.

Projects include:

• High-rise residential towers
• Multi-family developments
• Underground parkades
• Tenant improvement work
• Hospitality and accommodation projects

This opportunity is ideal for electricians who enjoy fast-paced construction environments, take pride in quality workmanship, and have strong experience working within residential code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and multi-family electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Complete rough-in, finishing, and service work on active construction sites
• Coordinate with site superintendents, foremen, and other trades
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Alberta electrical code
• Support project timelines and maintain high workmanship standards

Qualifications

• Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate (or recognized equivalent)
• Residential or multi-family construction experience required
• Strong understanding of residential electrical code
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive hourly rates ($44/hr+ depending on experience)
